California Photography

I live in San Diego, so a lot of these photos are from nearby, with pelicans, herons, and songbirds around town, plus flamingos, bee-eaters, and big cats at the San Diego Zoo and Safari Park. Farther afield I've backpacked the John Muir Wilderness, shot snowy sequoia groves and starry Mojave nights, and explored abandoned mines in the Mojave Desert.
